Investment Property Checklist
If you have an agent looking after your property, they will usually supply you with an Annual Property Statement, with a summary of Income received and Expenses they paid on your behalf during the year. Bring this with you to your appointment, plus any other details of income and expenses paid, such as:
· Rent
· Expense reimbursements
· Council rates
· Water rates
· Repairs and maintenance
· Insurance
· Body corporate fees
· Property agent fees
· Pest control
· Interest on loans
· Bank fees
· Cleaning
· Replacement items, for example dishwasher, hot water system
· Land tax
· Travel
· Garden maintenance
· Advertising costs
